Spread the Excitement Over Time - Part 2
Welcome to part 2 of our multi-event/series blog series!
Creating a series of events is a smart way to keep participants engaged and coming back for more.
From a participant's point of view there is nothing more frustrating than having to enter and pay for each event separately.
This frustration and time consuming task is made even worse if you have to do this all again for your child or other family member.
Taking away this pain point will leave your participants with a positive experience and be excited and eager for your event.
With the eventplus series configuration, you can set up a single event with multiple races or sessions, each with its respective event date and time.
Participants can register for the entire series at once or choose to enter one or more initially and return later to sign up for additional races or sessions with just a few simple clicks.
Example Event Options:
- 5th May: Brown Bay Trail Run - 5km, 10km, or 21km
- 6th June: Sandy Bay Trail Run - 5km, 12.5km, or 21km
- 9th July: Scotts Landing Trail Run - 6km, 10km, or 21km
Example Registrations:
Paula can register for:
- Brown Bay Trail Run 10km
- Sandy Bay Trail Run 21km
And for her child:
- Sandy Bay Trail Run 5km
- Scotts Landing Trail Run 6km
Then, she can check out with one single payment.
This eliminates the need for multiple registration forms, removing barriers to entry and getting the money in the bank!
In part 3 of this blog series we will talk about multi-participation within a single day or ‘festival’ of multiple days’.
